| A Woman, Unchained |
I am Queenie, an artist based in Cebu City, Philippines. Although I showed artistic inclination when growing up, I decided to pursue a degree in Chemistry. Right now, I am teaching organic chemistry and biochemistry to college students at a local university.
Acrylic is my choice of medium, although, I am comfortable working in charcoal, graphite, pastel and watercolor. I sold my first acrylic painting in an exhibit in 2011, which is about a nude woman, exalting her liberation from bondage.
Since then, I decided to resume my artistic activities and have spent the ensuing years, developing my style and discovering my niche in the art world. For now, I decided to devote time on figurative nude, portrait and abstract painting.
